domandmel
hey guys, was washing the car today and decided to remove thesefrom herethere was lots of mud collected underneath and on top of them.i have removed them because they seemed like a real trap to cause problems on the wheel arch lips. i had them fitted to my Impreza and the return edge of the wheel arch was starting to rust!anybody else done the same? are they important? if not then they are going straight in the bin!!cheersDom
WilkesyMB6
I had mine took off when I had my arches done, as like you said they trap the water and rust builds up.

stoatman
Yeah , I keep mine on but I have cleaned under them at least twice and applied grease. I also bought some new ones from honda anyway as the others looked a bit manky.
