FlunkyVTEC
That mainly depends on the spoke design as the most important factor is the distance between the spoke & brake caliper. With my stock ET55 wheels the brake caliper fits only just and the wheels have a a slight dish design spoke to make some room. What you need to know in order to determine this (anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) is the distance between the center of the wheel and the inner side of the spokes and compare that to stock but this is not a standard measurement.I've attached a sheet that I've made when I was in the same process as you. As I'm terified of spacers I wanted to be as sure as I can that I didn't need any. The sheet shows how much space is left from the hub mount to the outside of the wheel and from the hub mount to the inner side of the wheel. The first gives an indication of how much space is left for the spokes and the caliper although spoke thickness and curvature differs per wheel and is therefore not 100% reliable. If you know the thickness of the spokes you can calculate the X value - spoke thickness (mm) and you'll know how much space is left for the caliper in comparison to stock. The latter gives an indication whether you will have rubbing issues with the wheel arch. It doesn't take into account what a good ET is but at least you can compare numbers with stock or the wheels that you currently have under the car.As my wheels haven't arrived yet I can't tell you whether it's reliable yet .The example values are from the wheels that I wanted to purchase. I hope this helps a bit.

weetec
need some help on alloys please, does the size have to be 4x114.3 or will 4x114 do? is the .3 essential?
mb6vti
4x114.3 is the same as 4x114 - some places don't bother writing in the .3. So yes you will be fine.
