civicturbo79 Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 The standard rev limit is 8175 rpm i think . you can rev it to 8400 rpm not a problem but where is peak power . if its 8000 rpm you are just reving it for no reason . civicturbo79 Posted May 9, 2012 Share Posted May 9, 2012 The standard rev counters are aways out to the rpm of the ecu , standard rev limit is 8100 rpm but the rev counters always show more . If you get a socketed odb1 ecu and then map the car on chrome you can up the rev limit , add launch control and have a shift light , but to need a chip burner and ostrich so you can live map the car and them burn a chip at the end of the map.Rich.
