Right then, been looking around the net as you do, notice that when people turbo their Civic's they go on about Darton sleeves.

I know they go in the block, but some daft questions are about to come

Do you need different sized pistons?

I assume it'll need running in either way?

Also are there any other benefits to them?

Yeah I'll wait for Rich's input!

I don't think supercharging has the same DET issues as turbocharging? I'm probably wrong though but that's why I'm asking!

If it was a case of forged pistons and rods to do the job then that would be spot on! I already know what I want to do top end! I just need to know what bottom end components need strengthening so that she'll be reliable!

Would rather do it once and do it right! :D

Don't need to do nothing of the sort for anything upto 400 ponies on a b18c4.

my friend had a darton lined block and oil pump killed the engine!!!

We threw in a new engine n box from a low mileage donor car, slapped on an even bigger turbo manifold, intercooler etc.

car runs around 300 ponies all day long without any problems. (has only had a road tune so no graphs but the tuner has mapped plenty of cars and ones with similiar spec were around that power)..

Nice! So literally a stock bottom end, no forged pistons or owt then? What about if I modified the head as well so she'd rev higher as well?
