nathan123487
when i rung him the otherday he seemed very keen and then sounded disapointed when i said that i am also viewing a car in corby. alrthough i told him that i would like to view this one as early as possible and he suggested 9 o clock... i rung him again earlier to double check he still has it etc and he said he has someone viewing at 8.15... i said i can be there for 8 if he wishes but he said stick with nine..... reckon hes playing tricks back to combat my trick playing ? He said he had a missed call of my number implying that he did not know the number... but then remembered i was going to corby after ..... in regard to the ep3s... i dont like them..... im now on the hunt for more cars round the northhampton area just incase
nathan123487
ive found a civic sport on x reg 9k miles less fsh etc etc same price similar distance away... im going to print this out and take it with me and explain to him this is what im going to see in corby and maybe if his price was a bit more sensible i would go for his car on the grounds of cheaper insurance etc
NIKH25
common game that, someone is seeing it before/after Yep, very true, you're already sounding too keen to me, definitely view some others before you make your mind up even if you can't find any in the area go and have a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie and if it goes, it goes there's loads of them out there. ryan..
i very much doubt he will have someone at 8.15. Who goes looking at cars that early?!It might have 12 service stamps but if it did i'd certainly put pictures of it on the advert. There are no engine pics, no evidence its got all its tools with the spare wheel, nice evidence of having all 4 keys (red, green and 2 black). Just because its had a load of back to black put on it and is low mileage (5000 a year) does not mean its perfect and for that money i'd want it like its just out the showroomAt the mileage it should have had the cambelt done, if not it needs doing (£300 depending where you go). The headunit looks really odd, I dont think its oem as honda used all pioneer stuff then im sure.

ryan..
looking at their website they seem to be a mx5 "specialist". The civic is the cheapest car they have by quite a bit so my guess is its a part ex. Id be willing to put money on that car only oweing them about 1k, if that. So that is a huge mark up. If you cant find anything else close by to look at i'd ring him, say you'll give them what its worth (£1200 MAX!, nothing more) and see what they say. Its a long way to go if its the only car you are going to see
WilkesyMB6
I was about to say, its worth having a chat with him and see what he would be willing to take if you were going travel there.
ryan..
thats what the guy did who bought my vti-s. It was up for 1650 but i wanted 1500. He was traveling from IOW so had to pay for ferry etc. So I said I wanted 1500 (wouldnt have normaly done this). He turned up, was smitten with it and I let it go for £1450. It cost him a fortune to get the car, fuel for the civic £60, Ferry for the civic £50, ferry for his mates car £40 and fuel for his mates car. Anyone on isle of wight see an R plate vti-s, it was probably mine
belfastlad123
holy sh**. i think you would be crazy to pay that kind of money for a 1.4 mb. just my opinion tho its up too you. could get a quicker honda for that money unless insurance is an issue ?
