Always preferred older cars, my first car was a 1967 mg, followed by loads of mk1 and mk2 escorts. Older cars have more character, my mb, you open the bonnet and you know exactly what everything is, my mrs audi sportback, just a big lump of plastic, lovely to drive but boring, intercooler hose blew off the other day... Tried locating it, need to remove bumper before you can even see it

Im very much a 90's car man now and in the 90s i was very much a 80's car man (still would be but because of the bloody scrappage scheme mad everything so rare and unobtainable)

Yeah, best thing about my 80's Honda is no engine light! :lol:

 

But currently she also has a holey sump due to corrosion, only downside so far though! :lol:
