mark11
do you have to buy the heat sink seperate or does it come with the ignitor
Idemann
You should be able to reuse the heatsink, it's just a lump of metal that that the ICM screws to and then the screws from the outside of the dizzy screw into the heatsink. I fitted a new ICM yesterday and it came with some thermal paste for reassembly. see my post here. Some links to cheaper alternatives on ebay there too. mark11
Did the test on the ICM with the LED (what i found on a site about LED's flashing to tell you problem) It said the ICM was not working.I put a new one on, still wouldnt go.Tested the coil after - that wasnt workingPut a new coil (got it from local car parts place) on it wentCar Started, running fine, working a lot better. Today died on me again - No sparkGonna test it again tomorrow to see which has gone this timeDo you think there could be something else causing this or is it coincidence ive bought dodgy coil or ICM Second time being bought home on back of a green flag lorry

marko
If the coils gone again then you could have a short in your ignition, somewhere :s I know this will sound expensive just to try it but change your leads and plugs you could also be arcing at the cap, but I'm sur I read you changed the rotor and cap. Other than that I'm lost man
