pjrzn
Guys just wondering, if I bought a car and the car has tax and mot but no insurance is it okay to drive the car from A to B? Or do I need to get this insurance as soon as I bought the car? It's about 150-200 miles roughly around 3.55 hours drive.
Chandler
you'd need insurance i would have thought mate, there are a few companys that do day insurance so maybe worth taking that out?or you can give your insurer a ring and ask them if you can get insured on it for a day or so and see what they say?the worst they can say is no :/

But most policies do not come with this as standard anymore. Most will cover you 3rd party as long as you're 25 or over and the car you are driving is also insured! I'd give your company a call mate, better safe than sorry, it's 6 points if you're caught!
Crazy_Mark
I was covered to drive my car home when I bought it as technically it still belonged to someone else! Check your insurance policy but most say that you can drive other cars so long as they are under a certain engine size and not yours. Mine was 2L max til I was 25 now I can drive any car as long as its not mine.
