Guest
Its Renault engines and gearboxs in the diesel almera and primera.Aww god no! I had a Primera P11 (SR20DE) before the M. It was horrible, Still sold it for more than I got it for to a non-petrol head because it was a solid car but I just didn't get on with it. the rear axle was Live so hit a bump on the right and the left lifted too! I had planned to do an SR20DE to 20VE+T conversion but after I realised the car sucked it had to go.

jamestopdog
Its Renault engines and gearboxs in the diesel almera and primera. True mate but the almera and p12 where both designed and produced before the renault partnership. But yes the engine basically Renault unit but not necessary a bad thing, i ran a dci renault van and a merc sprinter for couriering and the merc cost me loads more in repairs over the same mileageWith the 2.2 dci the main weakness seems to be the turbo, but then again most turbodiesels have this problem at some stage I supposeAnyway all irrelevant now as when went to ring the bloke to arrange viewing he sold it first thing What about one of these?http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/honda-accord-22-i-ctdi-ex-5dr-mot-270214-2-former-keepers-2850-ono/1041028038 We chatted about these earlier in the post mate, pretty ropey the diesels in these would you believe?
