yellowUmberella
I was talking to Jack about the Deck and the break drag. Ordered a new caliper this morning. But have seen another deck for £300 with 125k but needs a few bits to fix it up.. A Rear caliper (WTF is with these? Were these made by Rover?!) A lower ball joint and "Emission Failure: EMS Light On" The latter is an easy fix.. Take the bulb out? On a more serious note, there's a guide for EMS light on here, right? but the other two are about £120~ worth of bits (£18 for the ball joint and £102 for the caliper, £30 of which is returned) + £30-50 for the MOT which is like £450~ for a 2001 Deck.. Is that a good deal? Its got Tax til July and no rust either
NIKH25
It does sound like a very good deal, definitely worth further investigations.

KiNK43
Sounds pretty good ay. What physical condition is it in?? Any good??And yes my engineer mate who recons calipers calls them 'rover type' not 'Honda type' so that says it all really!

yellowUmberella
From My email I got back from him, interior has "Age related marks on the interior, exterior has a scuff on rear bumper (See photo) but rest is straight, two owners from new, minor MOT failure due to Ball joint, rear caliper drag and EMS light on"
Krzys
As above, nothing you couldn't easily sort! Even if you only had it for 12 months it would pay for itself!
