Seat swap

Has anyone ever tried fitting rear seats from an early model mb/mc car to a later model with the 3 point rear seat belt. I know the seats are different but I'm hoping the mounting points on the chassis are the same. Maybe just a case of swapping the brackets over ??

So just replace these fellas with the ones from the early model and they should fit in ok ?

Yes! If you're taking the seats out of the car yourself to fit into yours, best bet is to just take those as well as they differ from early to later models!

The later model civics have a seat belt that goes across your chest, where the earlier models has a belt that goes across your lap! remember to change the belts over from where ever you get the seats from and also take the hooks/hinges with you for your own! some cutting and shaving will be needed for the bigger hooks but nothing major :)
