Guest martin
Just had my rear calipers done and the parts they ordered didn't fit!Turns out the 1.5 sport has the rear brakes off of a mb6. Hope this helps someone.

Roj
So the Sport really does have some kind of performance advantage over the other models. My 1.5 LS has tiny rear disks!
DAVEMB2
What size brakes then? mine are 262 rear, that said it did have drums until I brined them for discs lol
KiNK43
civics are pot luck rear brake wise. some have 262/262 some 262/242. very hard to make sense off what models will have what.
DAVEMB2
Think it may do Tom coz my mb3 1997 had drums but I have seen the same year and model car with discs that had abs mine did not . Also the 262 on the mb6 was used on a few models the disc on mine now are 262 and are off a late mb2 that had abs . I think they just put the hand in the parts bin and what ever came out it went on that car lol lol
Krzys
So tempted to swap the rear discs for drums!
Guest martin
Mine has ABS but think the parts bin theory might be right 😜
KiNK43
I agree with parts bin theory too. Eks have random selection of parts too and egs
KiNK43
So tempted to swap the rear discs for drums! Not a bad idea mate.. Our nissan has rear drums and the rear alloys stay spotless!!!
