Guest jimbob738
OK so I went and bought some LCA's from ebay thinking (to my stupidity) that they were genuine skunk jobbies, after further investigation realised that they are indeed fakes, read belowhttp://eu.skunk2.com/id/707/Fake-LCA-Alert/ so is anyone on here running on these, have they seen any detrimental effects from them and should I return them and report to Ebay............. they seem decent enough the bushings I think are skunk2 but the arms them selves seem well badly finished, I have bought genuine Skunk2 parts before and you get more gumph in the package then parts about how they are genuine so did think was a bit dodgy? Advice please people....... The FB link also....................https://www.facebook.com/Skunk2Racing/posts/212347052140840 and the seller I bought off http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skunk2-PURPLE-LCA-Lower-control-arm-HONDA-CIVIC-EG-CRX-DC2-INTEGRA-MB6-/221508352910?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3392ed3b8e
KiNK43
Loadsa these about mate. From what I've read over the years the bushes fail prematurely rather than the arm. You used to be able to tell the fakes by how many lines were in center of bushes around the metal tube.
Grant
That's what I had read too Jake. It's difficult though because nowhere does the advert say they are genuine. On the other hand it doesn't say they're rip offs either. If you want genuine, gotta go official disti. Although I've been looking at these and hearing good things. http://www.hardrace.co.uk/hard-race-civic-eg-dc2-ef-da-rear-low-cntrl-arm-50mm-shock.html

Bushes are spot on still altho I did fit them properly. Zeroed and all that.
Guest jimbob738
Yeah I genuinely got caught in the moment I have given the seller a good ticking off, in advertising Skunk2 Arms when they aren't is effectively breaking copyright laws eBay should know better.the bushes seem like genuinely Skunk2 bushes but the finish on the arms and packaging stands out. I will try them as I said to the seller if the bushes give up earlier than expected I will be sending them back simple as that within 12 months, live and learn ay............
