Rear Hubs...Urgent info Req

I have replaced my o/s/r hub assy (bearings went again).

I have now found that my brakes seem 'strange'. It's as if the ABS kicks in too early on heavy braking. I have a feeling that they have supplied my with a hub with different ABS ring/teeth on it.

The advert on fleabay said the MB and Aurodeck had the same hubs...is that true?

After some digging i found this advert stating NOT FOR AERODECK!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-1-8-VTI-VTEC-1995-2001-REAR-WHEEL-BEARING-HUB-KIT-NEW-/270430089442?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3ef6e3b0e2

Thinks i have been supplied an aerodeck one as the abs is coming in too early which would be the abs ring being wrong.

The advert in the one i bought says INCLUDING AURODECK models!

Ffs! Why can't things go right for me either?

I've now got to find my old hub in a skip full of truck parts tomorrow as I'm at work. Going to count the abs ring teeth n compare them.

In fairness the eBay seller phoned me within 10 mins of email. He is happy to solve issue but does that doesn't help my time and effort.

Does anyone have an old hub lying around that they could count the teeth from? I have searched through the works skip full of truck parts and oily rags n crap to find my old hub, but nothing! Saves me having to strip down the other side to see and count teeth! :( i want to cry!

according to ling's EPC, did a lookup on a 1999 vti aerodeck, and a 1997 vti hatch, the illustrations look different, but they are both the same part number.

it could be that the new bearing either has too many teeth, or not enough, it can only be a tooth out either way and it can make the abs think that a wheel is locking up.
