put pipe on nipple into bottle of brakefluid and bleed stoping air return into system or get someone to push clutch down and hold finger over nipple preventing air entering system

How normal is this low bite problem? I have today got around to fitting new master cylinder (courtesy of beastgtir) installed, pumped tons of fluid through and kept topping up. Closed nipple with pedal to floor. At first couldnt disengage clutch at all but kept pumping

Pedal until finally it disengaged. Ive checkf for leaks and reservoir full, but still the bite point is still mm's from the floor. Why is this? I was hoping it would be normal so I wonder if ive missed something. Any help appreciated. Jake

did you bleed the master first or did you start at the slave?

I didnt know I could bleed master. Conected it all ur. Undid nipple. Hose into tub,

Pumped fluid and topped up res about 7 times then had friend keep pedal down to floor while I tightened nipple. So shouldnt be air in there. I was led to believe nipple is one way valve so wont suck air in anyway? Well its drivable but waste of time and money relacing cylinder so far.

Thanks for replies buds.
