I fitted a new filter today but it was the wrong size (strangely the instructions were correct for my car - pictures and everything!) So, I just squeezed it in anyway. Basically there's some gaps, of a few mm. It won;t foul any sensors, or cause the car to burst into flames or anything? On the plus side, it does seem to be blowing much better. I'm still questioning if I'm just being an idiot, but there's only two ways it can fit, and it definitely didn't. But like I say, only a little out, so nothing tragic.
