jaydlaw Posted February 10, 2015 Author Share Posted February 10, 2015 thanks again guys. not posted for a while now but I have been building up a collection of pics and work ive done to the car looking pretty nice now just ready for some new alloys and abit of paint redy for summer...... oh and a new gear box!!!!! lsd is making a terrible noise thought it was the cv at first so changed the drivers side cvs and drive shaft and still the same problem. jaydlaw Posted February 10, 2015 Author Share Posted February 10, 2015 no mate there just standard rear lights pic has been edited a little. and the noise is simlar to the noise a cv would make. nocking and clicking. it makes the noise when I let off accelerator but if I put my foot down it feels ok but once I let off it starts to vibrate the car a little and realy sounds bad. like I said at first I thought it was just the inner cv but turns out its not that. my mehanic said it seems like the diff has been starved of oil but there seems to be plenty of oil in it. is there some kind of oil feed pipe inside the box that feeds oil to the diff?he said it must be blocked up. I wasn't going to do it at but looks a lot better. not a hard job eitha tbh. only thing that was so annoying was the vent fins in the centre, they are so fiddly I could have binned them these are what im talking about anybody eles had the same issue? or is it just me haha and the new dash trim is in, looks a lot better and feels abit more sporty and a lot less rover Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jaydlaw Posted February 10, 2015 Author Share Posted February 10, 2015 hahaha or ye course they are. cant belive I never thought about that, they light up course they would have bulbs in went for a drive to coast with my mate a couple weeks ago hes got a 350z with the gay top. but its fast so kinda makes up for the fact.wasn't very fast on the wet twisty roads on way to mablethorpe though haha. there where ment to be 100+ cars meeting at Sheffield for a drive to coast there ended up been 6 cars so on the way down m180 we decided to leave and take our own root.bit wobbly pic but it was very cold this is on way back home in gainsbrough looked like it had just snowed, not so good in 350 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
