Today I have towed the car into work today as it just wouldn't bloody start. The green key wasn't appearing on the dash this time but instead, the engine cranks over but won't run. That's with the jump pack connected too..

I don't know what the f**k is up with it. It's just a combination of faults I think... Think I'm going to have to sorn it, put it under the covers and tuck it away in the corner of the workshop.

For now I don't have the time plus the weather is not all that great for working in the evenings.

Thanks for the help lads :)

Not good news. Would it not be worth a phone call to your local Honda dealer? They might have an idea of the problem. Some dealers may be strict and only help if the car is there and charge you labour but woth asking? Also, if your in the motor trade, they will give trade discount on labour...like i get from my local dealer.

May be worth handing it into Honda and telling them to spend a couple of hours on it. That way they can fix it or tell you the problem. That is what i would do if all avenues are exhausted.

Thanks for your input @burbleboy but the problem is I cannot even afford 100 quid or more for Honda to look at it. But I think I have solved the immobilizer issue but see how it goes in the next few days. I have tapped the key to the otherside of the ring reveiver and I haven't seen the green light flash yet. So fingers crossed :)

Yeah I'm driving it daily but I just don't trust it in the cold mornings as it still has the same starting issue

Might be worth parking it on a hill (If there is one), least you have half a chance of possibly bump starting it, unless the immobiliser says no!
