You'd thought the gear ratios would be a bit longer being a suv type car but nope, still short! the torque is gd tho but no way as gd as hitting 8500rpm lol i do miss racing chavs and seeing them changing gears while im still going to 85k lol

Jay i dont actually know what engine type it is, its not a vtec Noticed last night going from afriends house it struggled to turn over, like a couple of turns and then a big hard push and its starts.. Ddid this morning but after i got fuel started fine so i think its the battery, checked it and fluids were low so hopefully its alright but will test the voltage drop tomorrow Been getting some slatin from my mates for getting a girls 4x4 lol some comments so far... 'Lol "good" at spinning one wheel per axle and into kerbs' 'I rescued one of those stuck on a grass verge in my astravan' 'ohhh dear why a 4 wheel drive??? just incase there is a leaf in your drive?' The mx5 has gone but here my replacment! 01 Honda CRV west one edition! 102k miles, 100k cambelt, full service looked after. Bad point, i noticed it looks like its been keted down the side which im sure wasnt there when i went to look at it but will have to get that touched! Just given her a proper clean inside and will wash it tomorrow! h

Its gone, it was really fun, p**ing was easy and driting it was great but its just too small, the guy was happy to get it so hopefully it will bring him joy as well. Picking up the honda tomorrow..

they do look cool but i wont be slamming it at all, id like to get a lift kit, big beef tyres, roof rack, spot lights and maybe paint the wheels black. I proby wont get a lift kit but tyres and roof rack on the menu, here's a couple of pics of crv i saw on google images. The wheels are a bit extreme but the roof rack is nice!

What a day, started off getting lock up on the front wheels on the ice roads which ive never had and back end was twitching like mad! Went to see the CRV in conventry, its gd and its got the pull out table and a towbar I had to go out to get the deposit and the drifting was stupid lol, i couldnt pull out of a junction without it kicking out, loved it! But still its going, maybe a S2000 next time Heres the sellers pics, ill make a thread soon..

yeah i could of waited till spring and got the same money off she goes! i want nissan xtrail or a ford ranger but u will be happy to know im going to see a honda crv, looks gd and got everything i need atm.

ok thats cool i just saying, i had my 3 years and its a diease lol the s15 turbo is a gd upgrade

my old s14 had both but the pigeon mod is bad for the turbo tho as it dumping it into the turbo and not thru the proper valve. just saying.

Decided to stick her on ebay to see what happens, its been 3 weeks with no intrest, im happy to keep her until a nice petrol head dropped by today, his gold mx5 got rear ended by some foriegner who only just got his insureance that day! So he wants it replaced, he loved the tina tho lol we were chatting for about 2 hours. Tbh i know its the worst time to sell but he offered me 50 quid under what im asking so why not thats not bad right. Sometimes you just get that feeling you should take the offer instead of waiting for a better offer later you know. Took it for a spin, was great, did a turn around and drifted out a layby a treat, im regretting it already but i think its time to move on. Im looking at 4x4's or a pick up trucks now or maybe something bland so i can sell in spring to get what i really want.

they were gd lol Did some with the missus the night after, she loved it lol I think my alternator is on the way out maybe hold on thru the winter

Was doing donuts today in the 5 lol

guess what i spotted earlier today, the locking wheel key still on the wheel! lol

my 5th stag since i got married lol Well i ordered both oil seals from Mx5Heaven and they came today and i got it fitted, no more leaks! took it out and got the back a few times gd fun But just as my luck goes, i was eager to go out in it i left the locking wheel key on and lost it

Phoned all kinds of shops today, mazda said 3 days, none of the mazda sites had any apart from Mx5heaven had 2 but i phone europarts and they said they had 1, after i get it i take the hub out and hey ho its not even close the right size, stupid place gave me a craftshaft oil seal. So had to order those 2 seals and wait for them. Just looking forward to the 5th stag do this weekend

The last 2 days have been alot of hard work! i had friday off started at half 9 and only managed to get the diff dropped by half 5, i never got these 2 bolts undone, it twisted the spanner! i undone the gearbox side which was easy & just removed the diff with the plate attacted lol snapped 7 bolts including 3 m12 bolts with spot welded nuts Had to drill out the diff mount bush bolts as they have been never undone i rekon and the bush are shot as well. Finally by half 2 yesterday i got the other diff fitted by half 2 woop! Did a 40 mile trip today and on the way back i thought i could smell burning, when i got home i just checked underneth and loads of oil around the half shaft & hub that i pulled away Gunna need a new oil seal pronto!! I did manage to get it sideways once on sat tho lol

ha ha noo i cant do that hes had to remove the PPF with the diff, which is the plate between the diff and the gearbox. So i got home today jacked her and just tried to undo them first, they are about 120mm long! but with all my might i cant get them undone! the heads are rounding off slower now so im gunna have to try to undo the gearbox bolts. This is turning into to a nightmare and possibly no diff for either of us. Got to tomorrow to just shout at it and hope that works lol

it did, hes now messaged me and said he cant undo the bolts holding the diff on and hes scared he might snap them off so unless he gets it off or decides to leave it on, looks likei wont get this lsd And i bought the oil as well but i guess i can take that back if i have too..
