So!! Weather was nice today!!! And productivenous ensued!!! So first of all was the interior, in hindsight, should've done this last, but .... Stereo in and working, looks great, got the cage in fine, however couldn't get the stereo to 'click' into the cage properly which is a little jiggle to revisit. iPhone cable ran to below the ash tray, happy days. Oh ash tray, that's new too! Along with the cigarette lighter... While it was out, I changed the clock bulb too. Happy days. Also changed the heater resistor, now works on all four settings. And finally was the gear knob, don't need any explain action on that one! So interior all done, I'm happy.... For now. Haha Then went and bought some paint for the wheels, which will commence at some point this week. And then had the bright idea to de chrome and tango the head lights!! My god was I being a fucking retard????? Bumper off anyway to get resonator out, but ended up taking the bump bar off too!!!!! I'm sure I saw someone on here the other day take their headlights out without even taking the bumper off!!!! So tonight's task is sticking them in the oven, getting them apart and spraying. Sweet Oh and my MGZS ARB turned up today too

Thanks for the quick comments guys .. I think thats kind of sold it for me if im honest .. I'll refurb the original wheels, probably a white, and then have the tyres put back on those .. Then maybe wait for a later date to get a new set of wheels, or maybe if some come up on here.. Kryzs - No they werent hucentric mate, cheapo ripspeed universals just to get them on! Roj - Rubbing wasnt that bad actually .. could possibly get away with shaving it off, but dont really want to do that .. Like i said, minds made up .. Although, could the originals be ran with hubcentric spacers? That would push them out to fill the arches better .. .

Oh and I didn't realise the centre caps don't fit and can't find any others which is really grating me as I hate alloys with no centre caps on!!!

Not sure if we're in the right section, but I had the tyres taken off the original alloys and changed over to what i thought were dc2 alloys .. While i quite like the look of them, im still not sold and m considering refurbing the originals and putting them back on, dispite the fact it would leave me down as i had to pay to have the tyres changed over. A niggle is this, when i had them changed over, drove out the garage, could here a rubbing, look down to inspect and the fronts were rubbing on the caliper carriers .. Odd as these are supposed to be dc2 alloys .. So alot of faffing around i had some 3mm ripspeed spacers brought to me .. Put them on the front, cleared, happy.. Although, the centre bore lip on the hub, now doesnt sit in the centre of the alloy and im wondering whether this is contributing to a slight vibration under heavy, really heavy in 3rd & 4th gear acceleration?? But ok at a constant speed .. Now i obvioulsy have only owned the car 10 days, and havent driven it loads, but im pretty damn sure that on the way back from london with the standard wheels, the were no vibrations in any gear .. Anyone ever had anything like this? Or can give me some advice? Thanking you in advance ...

Not sure mate. Just stopped in a petrol station and it was down to 18psi in less than a week! So something's not right!

Sorted then!! Just realised after having my tyres changed onto these different wheels the NR FR is going flat Thinking it might have a leak somewhere .. Pretty sure they'll be happy enough to sort though ...

Ha try and convice.. You could bribe surely?! Dont think that itll take a lot to do to be fair .. Just getting the car up and potentially getting wet with this crappy weather we're having!

All minus the ARB I would've thought ...Think I'll keep the suspension mods and do that all in one hit (coils).

Ha is it too much to say I think I'm keeping the Royal Mail in business?? Postie round my way is certainly being kept busy. Can you spot all the goodies??? I will give one away though, big thanks to Krzys for the clock bulbs!! Also have a 180 MGZS RR ARB being collected by courier tomorrow, managed to get them down to £8.00!!!! Was well impressed!! That the rr ARB for £28.00 all in!!

Ha I just thought about that!! Will look a little odd lol. Jury spoke to him, will go up Saturday morning to see it. Apparently it's a little untidy (clutter) and dirty, but he'll clean it up for Saturday.
