  1. I bought a JDM Plate for mine and have a UK plate for the rear, each to their own I guess but my reason was this... The car is a "Honda" so Jap make and also "European" so Half way lol so hence JDM front plate and UK rear lol < thats just my theory And Im working on my Dials atm, open them up and sand the orange bits dude!
  2. You could go down the usual N/A route of upgrading cams/inlet Mani/exhaust mani etc plus a remapable ecu, and you still won't gain a 'major' increase in bhp though. Best thing to do IMO is to sell that turbo, save up for a decent (not eBay aka Chinese garett copy) turbo kit, plus a ecu and a few supporting mods AND gearbox! Cheers for the reply, Im basically heading towards the route of just getting it nice and tidy at the moment, ive looked into the turbo build for quite some time now and to be honest its not really worth it, the cars been massively reliable since I bought it and that for me is what I like to have, so just going to clean almost everything and do all the small bits which make a tidy car. By the way I bought the same plate as you, I saw your sig picture and had to a JDM plate too!! have you got a 12x6? I just bought one and it looks so much better!!! Turbo is out of the question now I guess, next mod for me might be to overhaul the rear calipers as they are 50% seized and probably paint them but cant decide what colour, black car bronze wheels, I was thinking gloss black calipers too
  3. I think the problem was as weetec said the springs, because when I bought them from DemonTweeks it said they are also for an EK and Im guessing because the rear end is lighter on the EK my car dropped like mad! I think the front was fine because of engine weight etc Thank you everyone for your inputs!!! 1"£££$££"!
  4. btw MGZS 180 the V6 car just for reference if anyone needs it!
  5. Any tips for tuning my engine is welcome, just need to get rid of the turbo I bought now to fund some N/A mods Engine is D16B2 dont know what I can do to it apart from some breathing mods
  6. Basically what Ive done is used the MG ZS Shocks AND Springs for the rear and have to say Im fine with the rear ride height. Pic was straight after the car was lowered from the trolley jack so might need some time to settle
  7. Thanks weetec, your well above it all for suspension!!! Thats exactly how I done mine dude narrower at the bottom!
  8. Dude are you reffering to a part number? for Eibach or MG Shocks???? Got it sorted now though 1"£££$££"
  9. harVTEC its you!!! lol Naa dude, standard shocks on Eibach at the front atm, still need to source some for up front... TBH quite happy with the standard ones on the front, dont want it any lower than that, very practical for me at that height can comfortably go over anything car park ramps, speed bumps etc
  10. Got it all sorted boys... Before After (today) SORTED!!! WOOP! WOOP!
  11. Lol, cheers guys, no worries back end is now sorted!!! Before After(today) SORTED!
  12. Thanks Dave, yeah Im going to stay away from turbo at the moment, I might just end up selling the T25 and do some N/A mods instead, I think the first thing I might do is cams, because I totally forgot where I read it but cams from which D-series engine gave an extra 20 - 25hp I think Z6 or Y8 not sure though... If you remember FREAKBOY he done the turbo on auto same engine and box as mine but he spend £££'s and time on it which I dont think Im willing to do atm. And lol having a hard time atm with the rear springs and shocks lol!!!
  13. Just for assuring measures, the thicker springs go one the front? am I correct?
  14. Thanks suspension man Saw the car yesterday it seems the arch is touching the tyre now, going to get them off asap today before I shoot my shocks. Basically heres the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eibach-Pro-Ki ... 2eb200ef40 It says it fits Honda Civic EJ/EK/MA/MB from DemonTweeks they said it should fit 100% and I suppose they are right because the front went on properly and have had no problems. The service was brilliant though, sent out next day etc... Weather seems good today, so I have no choice but to put the MG ZS Spings on their orginal shocks, lets see what happens, if the car goes back up then its deffo these springs I got and Im gonna tell the demon mans whats happening!!!
  15. Just thought id add that its like this on BOTH sides...
  16. Everything is correctly done, I got the shocks off a MGZS 180 its also the right way round, will be taking some pics tommorow after I open it all up again, somethings really not right here
  17. absoloutley, everything was triple checked nothing missed out!
  18. Lol naa I got them the right way round, but dont understand what has happened its really weird! Unless its because the springs are progressive and that has something to do with it? but not sure man :S do you have any pics of your springs?
  19. Its actually not bad in fact I really like these Eibach springs I got really impressed by their performance! I like the front low and the rear high lol!
  20. 1.6 LS dude and auto tranny its quite heavy at the front, gearbox is bigger than the engine lol
  21. Ahhh sorry to see someones dont that dude, dont understand why people do these things... Have you tried using any compound or anything on them yet?
  22. No more turbo now just so everyone knows! Its not worth the hassle tbh, going to do some other work on the car instead
