  1. multimeter arrived today, anyone care to explain to me how to use it? haha
  2. I'll have a proper look again when the multimeter arrives on the other hand on the way home from work my new headlight bulbs are pretty decent, they put out a decent amount of light now, enough to see ahead!
  3. yeah because the side light is in the foglight and it is working fine
  4. I know the power and size increase was hard to get used to! thanks
  5. hmm thing is you have to take the thing apart to change the bulb... and everything looks fine inside, I have stayed away from electrics all the time until now I have invested in a multimeter so I can check if the wire is getting power if I can figure out how to use it
  6. replaced the passenger fog light bulb with a new one and it still didn't work checked the fuse and its fine, don't know whats wrong with it
  7. replaced headlight bulbs for new oem ones and it seems to be a fair bit brighter! cba cleaning out the headlights as it means removing them and that is a mammoth task on this car.

    Sport

these vxr's can be tuned up quite cheaply for some fairly big gains but won't be long till cylinder 3 dies, common fault with the corsa vxr's
  9. if I was going to get hid's it would probably be 4300k or 3000k
  10. building up a morewood izimu! pics are in the bike thread in off topic!
  11. yeah the tyres are fitted the correct way, its just weird how only one alloy is facing the wrong way, my only guess it has been replaced?
  12. i would get projectors but i just cba with the hassle, going to get new bulbs and give the headlights a good clean inside and out and go from there.
  13. got some new headlight and foglight bulbs on the way, just OEM though nothing fancy, the proper modding will probably commence after ive finished my downhill bike build so nearer april/may time!
  14. ok a bit more similar than I thought. today I found out that the wheels are directional and actually push cold air to the brakes and one of mine is on the wrong side, so will be swapping them back to their correct sides.
  15. the same as in rwd and jap that's about it
  16. 300zx.co.uk seem pretty friendly so far and ive learnt heaps already! going to clean out the headlights tomorrow as that can help get some vision back
  17. just joined a 300zx forum to see if I can get more info about some of the problems and get some inspiration so some tasteful mods!
