please do that! then do a video!
-
I have been using the 2nd one for wheels for my zed!
-
most of it is still the original colour, the rest of the car is still black but just has a tinge of grey to it since its 24 years old!
-
well got all the rest of the gooey stuff off apart from those black rubber bits, you can see where the paint has faded, rear bit needs sanded down the surface rust and a lick of paint. its now ready for a spoiler, payday on Saturday so I cant wait!
-
haha that's what I was thinking
-
much prefer the white ones! so much cleaner.
-
haha these are the three to choose from, opinions please? this one is direct oem replacement http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-OEM-REAR-BOOT-SPOILER-/351056638032?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item51bc9b3050 Oem one with no brake light http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-MAD-CUSTOM-NISSAN-300ZX-REAR-BOOT-SPOILER-/351056636733?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item51bc9b2b3d and custom smooth one with no brake light http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-REAR-SMOOTH-BOOT-SPOILER-/171096056724?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27d61ea394

yeah a spoiler Is going back on, and the one without a brake light is a lot cheaper
-
haha don't want any water coming in and its mainly where the 3rd brake light was the huge hole in the middle. think im leaning towards getting another spoiler the same shape but fibreglass so super lightweight but not sure to keep the 3rd brake light or go for one without?
-
well this is what you do when you remove your spoiler and still have holes in the boot but don't have a garage and its pouring with rain
-
hair dryer works well for the long strips but does nothing on the big black globs of stuff
-
dam that would of been sick!
-
how come?
-
if i had £800 spare I definitely would! but look like this will have to do, bit more cleaning and a lick of paint to the lower bit and should be fine
-
and after I had a go on the adhesive and I cant for the life of me get these off its like they are super glued on!
-
well here's the pictures! adhesive has done a bit of damage to paint but overall not too bad condition. the offending item
-

half way through cleaning the bootlid, its such a nice day sun is shining! spoiler weighs 10kg!
-
skidz are going to be easier now since I recon that spoiler weighed about 15kg and now my boot doesn't fall on my head! it flies up haha
-
spoiler has been removed! jeez was a tough mission but got there in the end, so much CRAP underneath it though will take some pics tomorrow, a little bit of surface rust but nothing bad! not sure if I should just clean it up and run spoilerless or go for a fibreglass replacement.

I have a feeling the turbo might transfer itself onto the mb6 -
mods will have to wait a bit till I get my bike finished, just wish I had a garage to put the car in
