  1. I was told that if you tap the ballast whilst the lights are on that could make them flicker? maybe they're being shaken about? Not sure about the high beam but try what Simpo says and see how you go!
  2. I think you just had something else on your mind you dirty old hatter!
  3. I can slack some more Cheers everyone! Just fired off an email to ignition car parts asking if I can exchange the parts I bought for a complete dizzy plus cash! Can't see it being a problem! Goes to show that poor maintenance will come back to bite you though! So the lesson here for you lot is if you snap a bolt on the dizzy cap, get it sorted, it's more important than you think!
  4. I had Rota Spec R on my last MB6, 205/45/R16 with ET45 and lowered 15-20mm on the MGZS setup with modified front forks and had no issues at all!
  5. Didn't Weetec's have a long arm and then manage to hydrolock the motor?

What a ripoff, I got mine free with the car!
  7. Best keep an eye out on the cameras!
  8. I couldn't use the word lanky as Phil isn't tall enough!
  9. Yeah, in the form of "I told you so" and "I thought you were a trained Honda mechanic!?"
  10. He came round earlier so I've already had him
  11. Done Need a decent photo of the car to make one with but I know it needs doing!
  12. The useful stuff was said so......
  13. That looks great mate! Glad it went so well too! Hopefully when I get round to suspension bits for mine it's as compliant How long before the other wheels are ready do you think?
  14. Just before Phil set off home we took her for a quick blast to the end of my street and back with a warmed up engine, VTEC works
  15. Today a GLE member came over to lend me a hand with a spare dizzy..... Fitted the dizzy and she fired straight away! Also she behaved exactly as you'd expect!! Here is what had happened at the bottom of the original dizzy.... Suspect water getting in at the bottom has caused the problem! Over the moon with the result! Phil has kindly offered to let me keep his spare dizzy until I get a new one sorted! Top man, can't thank him enough!
  16. Yep! Been and fetched the Accord, started straight away despite being stood since beginning of December, awesome motor! Will get the dizzy sorted and maybe look at whatever else needs doing before I swap the insurance back again.
  17. The bottom screw was missing off the cap, the screws in that area have corroded and then rounded, even if I took the whole dizzy off I can't see me getting them removed without drilling, then I have nothing to put back in, plus I don't know what else might have been damaged by the lack of seal on the cap....I can't contact the firm until Monday and I need a car to use as it's getting ridiculous so I've insured the Accord, just need to fetch it and I'll sort the M out when I can be bothered, there's no incentive that can make me excited to have this car running again! I've had nothing but sh1t with this car from day one! I wish I hadn't bought it! But it's too late now, I have to sort it as I can't buy another car and I'll be 4ucked if I take a heavy loss or break it for parts!
  18. I've had enough of it, just going to replace the whole thing, I've swapped the insurance over to the Accord, just completely fed up now and don't want anything more to do with it right now.
  19. Can't go again Nick, the screw is knackered and in such an awkward place too! Going to contact the firm and discuss swapping the parts I bought for a complete dizzy...
