    If you still have the old wheels and tyres, I would whip them back on, and get the alloys back on ebay. Probably make a tidy little profit on them.

    I think you have half solved the problem. Perhaps putting pressure on it etc, is just muffling the sound, and you have something inside there? Apologies lol, still its nice to find the source of any annoying noise

    Lol, you certainly did. I always like to check and check again, oh, and check again with things like wheels though. No offence meant, just second, third, fourth opinions are always handy lol

    Thats good information to have. So my initial choice in et40 should be fine then. Was just concerned about them perhaps being too far out.
