Then to tidy up the crappy peashooter exhaust until I got my new exhaust, I bought a chrome tailpipe trim. I know its not ideal, but looks smarter. This To this -

I am going to redo the posts with pictures of the mods done since I bought her. I will try to keep them in order, but cant guarantee anything lol. So first up, I removed the crappy headunit, which wasnt even fitted all the way into the radio slot. I replaced it with my trusty Alpine which I have fitted to every car I have owned. It has full ipod control, and also charges the ipod, so I have an 8gb Nano in the glovebox -
Well, I have had to start a new thread as my original one has lots of duplicated and out of order posts ( I presume since the forum update) and I could not edit/delete all posts. As I have also lost a lot of my pictures due to the Photobucket update, I figured it was easier to create a new thread and ask the mods to delete my old one. Lesson learnt for me there too. Wouldn't normally be much of an issue, but we are actually getting a summer this year! Lol
-
That's cool. Can't wait to get it fitted
-
That's cool. The first one shocked me, but the others seem Ok.

What have people paid? Just been getting estimates to have centre and backbox replaced with the nice exhaust I have just bought. I am supplying gaskets, new bolts, exhaust rubbers etc. 1. £75 + VAT (so £90 really then) 2. £45 + VAT (£54) 3. £40 + VAT (£48) Apart from the first one, do the others seem reasonable?

MB2 TRINITY D. K26. 23/11/14 BRAND NEW MINI MOD ????????
Nairnster replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Ah thats cool. Did you mod the fog blanks at all? -
Not cheap, proper job though. For the amount I actually use them, would never spend that amount on a set.
-
SO is it not just me who gets p**sed off with their parcel shelf rattling? I was thinking exactly the same as above
-
I am taking mine out all together, as my electrical knowledge/skill is rivalled by a slice of toast. They do actually work, but it looks like despite the lamin-x coating, they have still cracked, and it looks like the laminx has then scorched. Are they just exceptionally fragile lenses on these? Have had other cars with fogs, and not ever cracked one. CAF feeds are replacing mine.

Sounds like a good choice. It was between these and Falken ZE914. The falkens were rated worse for fuel economy, and quieter, so figured this meant they were probably softer rubber. Price difference was a couple of quid. Getting them fitted on wednesday.
-
How are you finding them for things like noise? dry and wet grip etc, Tom?
-
They were good in the wet, but not sure the rapid as fook wear in the warmer months was worth the very slight (IMO) performance increase over other tyres I have used.
