  3. AH ok, thats the sort of info I was looking at. I would be running 195/45/16 tyres, or if I go for 15" wheels, 195/50/15s. Car is not going to be lowered by more than 40 to 50mm

  5. Do we know anyone with et40 fitted then in a 7j, as i need to make sure they fit ok before spending the cash. The wheels i initially looked at come in et40.

  9. Appreciate the help. Have to say I hate this aspect of buying alloy wheels. I need something that is direct fit, without any more mods needed,as I cant justify that extra expense. Really like the Sprint SW98 wheels, which are 7j ET50, but concerned they may not clear the inside (i.e foul the suspension etc). The next offsets available are all a jumpt to ET40, ET35 etc. Nightmare lol

  11. Yeah i will do some measuring to sort of double check. Can you confirm that the Fat Fives are 6.5j? If they are, an ET35 7J wheel would sit 32.5mm further out towards the edge of the arch if I am right. SO as long as I have about that distance to play with, should be fine.

  13. Hi there guys. I have tried searching and havent found a defnitive answer to this. What would the best offset (for a 7") wheel fitted to an MB6 be. If i am right, the fat fives are 6.5 " wheels? So a 7" wheel would sit 0.25" further out if I still used an ET55 wheel. What would the lowest I could get away with. I originally looked at some with an ET40, but then saw some with ET35. Could I get away with the ET35, without resorting to camber correction etc, or should I stick with ET40? Just some advice form those who have changed wheels over the years etc. Thank you please

  15. Do you have a picture of the sun shade?

  17. Yeah, its decided, by myself and Shadz. Buy a camber kit, and try it. If it still doesnt work, sell the camber kit, and then sell the wheels. However, you may be able to get them on for not much more cash, and will definitely be cheaper than looking for new wheels/tyres again.
  18. Sorry to hear that, but as Shadz says, I dont think it will need to much camber to get those fronts to fit, they are not that far off in the above pic, which I presume was before the arch rolling. Stay on it, as you have started, will make your car all the more unique, and a pleasure for you to own, knowing the effort you have gone too.
  19. Headlights were already like that on an MB1 Definitely prefer the new wheels Were they? Thats awesome, why werent they like that on the MB6 etc then. Bloody Honda lol
  20. AH balls. I am hoping I dont have to drill bolts out, i hate doing it lol. Well, I imagine its going to a be a couple of hour job when I get the new speakers then.
  21. I would definitely say a bargain. Looks very clean, and some nice mods already (headlights, backbox, induction) and the new wheels look well. Got any side on pictures with the new wheels fitted?
  22. Has anyoone done this? I have found out mine are kaputt (hence why the previous owner had parcel shelf 6x9s. I am going to replace the original rears with some new speakers, but holy s**t! the bolts holding them in are tight. So tight I cant undo them and the head is getting chewed. I have ordered some speakers today, but will need to get the old ones out to fit them. Any tips? I am thinking some penetrating fluid, and possibly try and turn them using some grips from underneath to get them moving.
  23. cheers! i know fianlly it was the first silver nut i hasnt actually got that plastic cover thing off so ripped it off and there it was the last nut, looks so much better now Lol, thats like the first thing to undo Glad its done though, cleaner lines ftw
  24. Looking good craig! Glad you got it done in the end, 6 hours has to be a record lol. What was it in the end?
  25. They just pull out. I will get a pic tomorrow for you. Actually, here is a link to one on the bay of E http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-A ... 0554413179 I dont keep anything in mine, and they arent that deep. Presume they are made to keep your documents in or similar. Perhaps a gentlemans magazine?
