  1. Mate its always the same, I not bought many cars that haven't needed sorting out within a week of buying it So disheartening but least still nothing real major like engine or box. Your soon have it sorted and will love it

  5. Dont think so nick, sure it was green or blue and a sohc. Nice find though!
  6. True mate but the almera and p12 where both designed and produced before the renault partnership. But yes the engine basically Renault unit but not necessary a bad thing, i ran a dci renault van and a merc sprinter for couriering and the merc cost me loads more in repairs over the same mileage With the 2.2 dci the main weakness seems to be the turbo, but then again most turbodiesels have this problem at some stage I suppose Anyway all irrelevant now as when went to ring the bloke to arrange viewing he sold it first thing We chatted about these earlier in the post mate, pretty ropey the diesels in these would you believe? Really surprised you said that mate I had a p11 limited edition gt, was a fantastic car, bestI ever had, had 7 years never cost me anything except consumables, lovely dohc engine, i had a ss autochrome header and full stainless system sounded and went great! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtnY6pHzlSs

  10. Tom, viewing another one of your favourite PSA engined cars Not this actual one, but 2006, 80k, leather, xenons, cruise, diesel for under 2k gotta be worth a view
  11. Thanks Simon. Yes perfect for that, the rear trim I did, I scratched a bit when stil wet, so peeled it off, so easy all came off in one. So great if you change your mind, but also vigourously cleaned the plastidip grill and all remained intact
  12. Was just looking through old threads looking for that sohc turbo thread the bloke done in his garage at home and came accross this beauty! S2000 clocks and mugen rocker cover Nice car wonder why the thread died
  13. Not 100% yet mate. Someone had a great indepth build thread on a sohc engine, think it was one of the overseas guys, really interesting read, did it all himself. Maybe someone can remember his name? A few rolling roads near me, luckily

  16. Only 1.36 hours from me, may even have a look if get time Monday ....would put a big hole in my oil burner budget though, if I bought it!
  17. I wish mate, could be doing up to 700 miles a week, slammed mb with loud exhaust definitely no good for that! Ally wish I could afford all three
  18. Well Seanmb6 has found me a red mb6 great miles and cheap , I'm so tempted but really need a diesel , so frustrating!
  19. Load of rubbish, dent and paint missing on bonnet, look like it had been shot! Scratches and dents on both sides, typical London car
