Cheers lads, haha the s line badge was bought for my audi once i debadged it, didnt bother was lying about so stuck it on the Bora (modding within a hour of getting it ), also bought a nice black satin aluminium s line tax disc holder, thats also,on the bora, looks better than the plastic one! Its a 130bhp Kyfer pick of the bunch really, I had a 150bhp bora previously but was waiting for the cam to melt Pulls nice, but since got a new clutch be rude not to remap it!

Yeah exactly Nick, its had a new clutch so a remap could definitely be on the cards. Set of eibach springs and that will do as my daily. Got full leather heated seats which is nice

As long as no problems develop with the Bora! 130tdi meant to be the best diesel around so what more can I do?! Needs lowering though.....badly!!!

All sorted!! Swapped the audi for a vw bora 2005 tdi 130 96k , which will use for my 300 mile commute and my mb4 will be the play thing for weekends and meets etc, especially now all insured too. Strip it out and get these turbo bits and pieces gradually ( be saving £30 on fuel now on commute so that can go towards the modify the m fund!) Sorted...happy at last

Cheers matty, and nice suggestions but managed to get rid, swapped it for a bora tdi 2005 , easier to sell if i fancy a change but quite liking the mpg! I had a Audi from that era mate, a 80gl though, loved it! Think it was 1981 But the Audi is gone!! Yay!! 3rd and last audi ill buy

Ok so last few days noticed the gear lever moves back and forward quite a bit when accelerating and de accelerating, might be paranoia but swear its getting worse, also can hear a feint whine from the box in 5th and 6th when going over 60mph Really thinking about trying to get my money back off the garage I bought it from, not fit for purpose etc i mean i paid the going rate for it, not like I got it cheap or anything and they are quite a big garage My mechanic reckons a bit of new oil might solve the problem for a bit, but dont want to temporary fix it and sell to someone else, thats not how I do things, stitching people up ...happened too many times to me Fuming really £4000 for a 2004 audi with worn box at 96k ..not good

Just decided to insure the mb on separate insurance so whatever cars I end up buying the mb is always on hand and insured Meant i had to use no no claims bonus through and at £246 cheaper than my other insurance! Work that one out! So collecting the mb from storage tomorrow all insured and ready to go, and the boring audi still insured til I sell it and get something else

Ah mate no you misunderstand me, i dont mind 30 mpg but want exciting performance with that, Boring Audi gives me neither My mb4 will return 34 mpg being thrashed all day long. But want something a bit quicker hence mb6 query

Mpg is bad mate, does feel a very heavy car though, bet a s3 fair bit lighter, was going to check tyre pressures but as usual no air pumps in any of the garages working as usual Think im not ready for a cruiser yet still like something small you can chuck around, 3rd car coming up in as many months

Ok everyone this will make you laugh (makes me cry) but after two weeks of audi ownership, bored of the car and bored of the fuel consumption ... £90 of high octane fuel got me 368 miles means im averaging about 26-27mpg and thats not even thrashing it like my civic What are you DOHC boys getting out of your tanks? I used to get 350 roughly and think used to cost about £55? Im selling up as soon as getting the log book and getting back in a vtec
