Just a wee update on the oil burning issue. Me and a mate removed HT lead 1 and 2 and both plugs were baked in oil so we are hoping buying a rocker cover gasket set may solve this issue once and for all. Also done a compression test and all was hunky dorie

Yea ive just done mine and its doing this. I did re-bleed the other day which helped for a bit but gauge still rises on the odd occassion but not all the time. So am going to re-bleed again for even longer and see if i can start nailing this on the head lol.

howdy poppets. Got what im hoping is going to be a minor issue lol. Have recently just changed my thermostat and sometimes car runs fine but sometimes, like earlier, the cooling fan will come on and stay on and then the temp gauge carries on rising. Ive never let it get any higher than half - 3 quarters. I then fire heaters full blast on hot in which the heaters are come through hot and gauge drops back to normal. Could this be airlock? Faulty temp sender? faulty cooling fan switch as fan stayed on more than usual (doesnt do this all time) or any other issues you guys may know of? many spanks chippy chaps

Just wanted to do a wee update on oil usage. Still need to do a service and still using a fair whack of oil but no smoke coming from the rear. But i did a thermostat and coolant change the other day and the underside of my radiator cap had oil on it, and slight oil in water nothing really major. However as of yet I am not using any water so could this still be HG or summat else?

Yea your right I'll need to stop dodging these then i can maybe get it sorted once and for all

I was considering getting it replaced but didnt know how to go about it due to not being damaged lol any tips on this could be helpful lol. Mechanic at my work has tried sealing majority of the window but its still leaking and still loads of wind noise, again im not certain this is exact window for car or if it is hasnt been fitted previously to any sort of decent standard.

Hey folks having some issues with my windscreen and just wandered if it was a common fault lol. When i bought the car there was a hell of a lot of wind noise so i went and investigated. At the bottom corner where the tax disc goes it seems the window doesnt go all way to corner, as if its the wrong window. The seals around the window are all starting to peal out and now its leaking water in from the top corners lol. Are windscreens usually an issue with these machines?? cheers

im proper excited for it lol, the brown trouser moments will be well worth it when i have the spoiler on and a boot lid that has more holes than an asda cheese grater lol.

I'd need to get a mate to do that lol, I'd be like the council and have hundreds of holes surrounding the patch where the hole is meant to be

Howdy chippy chappies. Just looking for a little bit of your knowledge on what to do with back box end of exhaust. At the moment i have a stainless manifold mated to a custom centre section with a small sports centre box and cat is also there. This then mates to a 4 inch toyosports can which to me just looks huge and probably is making car run as well as it should. Anyone any ideas on what style to replace can with? cheers.

Will i need holes in boot or spoiler. Because guy who had spoiler before had it on an MB6 and has just punched a couple extra holes into the spoiler lol.

Thanks for the posts got quoted 80 quid to paint which im over the moon with after the first place wanted 150 How easy is it for the rear spoiler to be removed, ive seen 4 nut kind of things but never took anything like these off before.
