    195/45's on an 8J probably wont give enough stretch, I'd be looking at something like 165/50's. You'll definitely need to roll your rear arches for the 9J's to even have a chance of fitting

    Have done some quick calculations, not 100% sure on their validity, but a 2" band would bring it to 8J ET25-ish and 3" band would be 9J ET12.5-ish. Again, not entirely sure on that, but I cant see it being all that far off. Fronts will fit with stretched tyres, not entirely sure on rears.

    Somehow I dont believe this story, my friends 45 currently has no springs on the front and we've cut the tops off the inner wings and the car didnt sit any lower

    That includes the cost of the ECU, having it built and fitted then set-up on a rolling road... and buying an MB6 would be too easy and not boosted

    Cheers guys! Progress will be slowing down a tad, need to get £800 ish put aside for a new ECU, then hopefully turbo will go on!

    Chrome doorhandles from a 45 could work, perhaps the mirrors too?

    Snapped wheelstuds are a pain, a garage broke one of mine and to replace it, they had to strip the hub down and replace the wheel bearing too

    Had a great time at Jap Finale, slightly dampened by my caliper falling off because the garage I used to replace my CV joints didnt do the bolts up properly! But thanks to Phil, Ben and Steve I got home safely without any more issues. Only took a couple of pics of mine next to Steven's MB Matt
