  1. Sump replaced with the help of mates today, what a ballache that turned out to be! Old sump only has a small split, so will probably weld it up and keep it in the boot as an emergency spare Matt
  2. But within a month or so, I'll have 2 working M's again Deposit being left on an engine on Thursday, and the rest being paid within a week or two after that Matt
  3. Should be delivered Tuesday, hopefully fitted on Thursday, but I may test fit them before without tyres, just to see what they look like. To say I'm excited is an understatement Matt
  4. @marv going to run 165/50, as I have some brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE040's. Mad I know, but not like my car is exactly subtle to begin with Matt
  5. It wouldn't be me without a silly obscene exhaust Finally decided on a set of wheels today, Klutch KM16, 15x8.5J ET17. I know of one other set in the country, on a bagged 6N2 Polo, so for the moment at least, pretty individual. Matt
  6. Cafe Aerodeck, day after Japfest at Heritage Motor Centre for the UK Slotcar Festival
  7. Just as I hit enter, @ammarbm posted some more pics on facebook, including some of my dash and parcelshelf! So here's a few more Matt
  8. Love this pic @ammarbm took of the Civic, cheers dude! @Dave, after seeing the picture above, I'm now going to get the chassis rails welded up and lower her some more. Probably going to treat her to some new shoes and get the bodywork sorted too. Oh, and some more hotwheels cars! That said, I didnt get any pics of my dash and parcelshelf, did anyone else happen to get any? Matt
  9. Cheers fella, was good to meet you today! Got a few photos from Japfest today, most of g99p fwends! And of the lineup when everyone else had gone Matt
  10. Cups went back on and fitted a new air filter Sorta clean And clean. Well as clean as its going to get Matt
  11. Well, I've still got loads to do for japfest. New tyres on wheels, clean wheels, clean car, fit new air filter etc. So I did a flame Matt
  12. It was considerably noisier and more intrusive, it was also a far more horrible noise when on motorways Started cleaning the car for Japfest, took to jetwash and another g99p came in behind! Matt
  13. Get that front dropped more to sort out the rake
  14. Another video of the new exhaust. Everyone loves videos Matt
  15. A place in Coventry did it for me, so I'm not entirely sure. Cant say I recommend it, the sound got annoying in the end. Plus they put the joins in the wrong place on mine, so when I had to remove it after snapping the manifold, I had to undo the rear shock from the arm, in the rain, at 1 in the morning New engine will get it back on the road quicker, might then go about rebuilding it with better components when its out the car Matt
  16. Its cursed, thats what! Ran something over which took out all my auxilliary belts, and unknown to me, caused an oil leak which I didnt know about until it seized. Didnt overheat, wasnt knocking and VTEC was engaging fine. So it's now parked in a unit I share with a few friends waiting for a heart transplant and a bit of love Matt
  17. Well, MB6 is broken and because I'm lazy, that meant I needed a car on the road, which meant the MB2 needed a new exhaust system after snapping the manifold. Not one for being sensible, I bought a cherry bomb to replace the manifold downpipe cutting and welding happened, and half way through, it looked like this More cutting and welding and we have this Which means this And while doing all this, we found this. Quite the dent in my sump Matt
  18. No, its actually my dream car Bit of an update now, broke some things on the MB6 Alternator, power steering and air-con belts. Replaced the alternator, getting fit by now having power steering and sweating in a car with no air-con Tried a Lenso on the MB2. She really needs a clean and some loving, sitting there neglected on the driveway Gave the MB6 a half-arsed clean Hit a deer. FFS! Luckily not too much damage, just a split bumper and a pushed in fog light Car fwends! Matt
  19. I like to keep my family together Grabbed a few shots when I was out with a mate the other night. His car, a Mazda 6 2.3, is the reason I bought the MB6, he's only been driving 8 months and had a faster car than me after getting rid of his fiesta. Couldnt be having any of that! And grabbed a couple of the driveway as it is now. 2 MB's together And then a wild clown car appeared Matt
  20. Dont understand the hate for Nankang, they were fine when I ran them. Admittedly I would go for better if I could, but I wouldnt have a problem running them again.
  21. Picking the MB6 up on wednesday and throwing her right in at the deep end, got a course for work in Bristol on Thursday Looking forward to having a bit of power to play with Matt
