daveholja
Alright guys, Just after some suggestions for insurers. Got my renewal through recently and it is laughably high. Last year to insure a 1.7 55 plate Astra cost me £840, in June I had a not-at fault accident (someone hit me). Midway through the year I acquired an MB3 and have done slight mods (Meisters and Alloys) and my insurance renewal is now £1950. Doing quotes I am getting around £1000 - £1500 for Third Party F & T. I've rang Adrian Flux, best they could do was £950 Third Party F & T and I am awaiting a response from Sky Insurance. Has anyone got any more suggestions for companies good with mods / know a little bit about cars? Cheers guys, Dave
dr_broon
Been with Adrian flux for years to be honest and they've always been good and well priced. They used to do discount if you mentioned you were on the forum... Worth checking out with @DAN@ADRIAN FLUX

Chandler
sometimes fully comp is cheaper than 3rd party F+T so try insurance on both sides and go from there
DAN@ADRIAN FLUX
Hi, unfortunately with the recent changes to how the Ogden rate is calculated, we have seen premiums increase across the industry. If you wanted to drop me a PM I'd be happy to see if there is anything more we can do in regards to your quote. Kind Regards Dan
