jalesi2001
Another quick update! Went a bit mad yesterday and ordered a load of stuff for the civic, as some of you know, i have been trying for ages to find a second hand front bumper for mine, doesnt matter how hard i try i kept getting messed about by people breaking them. To be honest, I was starting to doubt my commitment to the car, as I knew i was never gonna be happy till it was sorted. So... I ordered:(All brand new!! )1. Front bumper.2. Support beam. (goes behind the front bumper!)3. Normal VTI front lip.4. 2 x fog light brackets.5. 2 x front fogs.6. 2 x headlamp washer jets.7. Chrome surround for grill.8. All the clips, screws, fixings, bolts etc etc for the beam, bumper and fogs.My bank balance is gonna take a serious hammering, but it had to be done, i was never gonna be happy till i did!!Bumper arrived today, but only 1 headlamp washer and 1 foglight bracket, so I built up one side. Drilling the holes for the headlamp washer was a bit scary, but good old Honda mark the inside of the bumper so it wasnt that bad!! Also took the lip to a bodyshop near me today to get it sprayed, he is gonna charge me £95 which i thought was pretty good, i have seen some of his work on his website and now in the flesh, it looks stunning so im hoping for a good result! Wont be ready for the border run though , but the new bumper should be, as long as i get time this week to fit it!! Fitted the chrome surround though, looks much better as the old one was broken, i think the bonnet was slighty bent in the accident as it doesnt fit perfect, but its good enough!Sorry i dont take more pics, but my hands are always dirty, i know i keep saying it but i promise to get some more pics up when its sorted, to show you my latest progress and also the VTI-S wheels etc!! (I might get it to look like it does in my sig one day!!)
