jalesi2001
Yeah, new pads and Brake lines will make your pedal harder and more responsive, but they will work better with a decent set of disks to go with them!!
civicturbo79
For around £300 you could fit new grooved disc's red stuff pads all round and a braided set of hoses . Rich.
m4rkvti-s
Cheers fellas. That setup sounds pretty damn tempting Rich! Just a bit cautious about upgrading the disks as i didn't know if they were same dimensions as standard! Only just clearing standard disks with the 15's

m4rkvti-s
Update time! I got a couple of little but very effective mods off members on here! Thanks to Stubrun for the carbon dash trim and OEMEG4UK for the front wing! I'd been searching (without luck) for the carbon dash trim for a while and then i was bored scoping out the for sale section one day and found the dash trim for sale. I don't p**s about, so i got straight onto Stubrun and arranged payment the next day. The dash came about 2 working days later 1"£££$££"!! I then got hold of a new front wing off OEMEG4UK for nearly £100 less than i was quoted to have my current one repaired and sprayed! So about 3 working days after i had put the payment through, the wing arrived.Pics of the dash trimi'VE JUST REALISED I FORGOT TO GET A PIC OF THE WING!! *facepalm*

m4rkvti-s
Anyone handy with photoshop? I managed to find a fog light that i'm going to tint yellow so this will go on passenger side, i will then (if this looks good) get a bodyshop to custom fabricate a towing eye into the other gap and smooth and fill the gap where the foglight used to be around said tow eye. Anyone help by taking any of the pics off this thread and photoshopping it?! I'm also currently enquiring about lower control arms and a lower tie bar to add to the clean JDM look im going for. Does anyone know what lower tie bar would fit. Apparently D2 LCAs fit so accessory zone say anyway but he is contacting D2 to find out what fits and what doesn't. Haven't asked him about tie bars though.Cheers Mark
m4rkvti-s
Couple of updatesFirstly, i bought a full set of grooved brakes off ebay for £130 on recommendation from rich who had them on his turbo civic. So i thought, if they're good enough for him, they're good enough for me! I have to say for the money they haven't disappointed.Pics of the brakesOn carI also invested in some cleaning gear for the summer. One product i was really impressed with is Dodo juice red mist detailer. The pic below shows the car after being washed, dried and waxed, the bonnet has also had the red mist detailer applied on top of this to show the difference in shine!
