Civic drivers front upper wishbone stuck

Question

Hi folks...

Wondering if someone can help me as going mad here...

I have a 1999 civic 5 door.

It has had 2 replacement right side upper front suspension arms.  One patern, the other genuine honda - done at 2 separate garages.

After driving for a short distance the arm becomes stuck when going over a bump and the front suspension drops to a  lower position and stays there...obviously not safe and can't been driven.

Any ideas please?

That's deffo not right. You should ideally take it back to the garage that fitted it as they've done something wrong somewhere when fitting it. It may be something simple (maybe overtightened bolts instead of torquing them correctly or the part itself instead fitted properly. Either way the garage need to inspect what they've done.
