Ok even thought she is hurt at the mo I did her proud yesterday, oe cambelt n aux belt, oil n filter. Bit of an insurance policy on the engine really, so I've still got a bit of value left in her. Sadly I think she has come to the end projectwise, even though progress was slow. I don't know yet if she will be broken, I would love to keep her for track use, but that is probably just dreamin, I don't have any way of getting her to the track!

you can get a track day ready car thought a mot quite easy, because everything you do to turn it in to a track day car, well exceed's the standered of an mot, the only issue i can think of would be the cat, unless you can find a friendly mot tester....

well after an annoying couple of days of her revving on her own, she has decided to stop doing it now... I havent done anything to stop it, gona check oil in a bit as im wondering if an overfill could cause this? as i changed the oil a couple of days previous to the problem starting.

fingers crossed dude. defo iacv seems to be a problem on most of these engines at somepoint in there lives.

dya think your car has had a bit of a problem in the past? is it hpi clear or whatever?

just curious because you had the strange incident with the door catching, you say theres filler there. then you got no ac, no fogs, and door sticker was different.

hope you start getting bits sorted mate, quite familiar with civic giving you a hard time. its not nice.

I think its had a gruesome past mate, its not straight to say the least. surprised its lasted as long as it has, underneath she looks ok tho, no cut n shut as far as I can see. she knocks, bangs, clunks, clangs tho! check out my rhyming!! just seeing her out till cash is there for a new one.

have you ever removed the IACV yourself? i had a look before and it seemed quite awkward to remove. but touch wood shes not playing up at the mo!
