Hey John you thought about getting some rear camber arms? Blacksport has a set on his, I think its sorted out his camber and handling completely, plus ep3's tend to eat the inner edge of the tyres when running the standard arms? Just a thought, I think they are about £100 and very easy to fit, but you will need it set up again though!! ;)

Yes mate, I've got it reduced as much as possible with the standard setup, so it's around -1.5 degrees.

Thats improved things massively already, lift off oversteer and the like are all but eliminated.

It's got crappy cheap tyres on the back at the min anyway, so I'll see how quickly it destroys them :D

I'll be putting coilies on at some point, hopefully before JapFest, and I think I'd have no option but to change the camber arms then as the neg camber would be shocking :)

You seen the 'buddy club' camber correction bolts? Seen a few around, but not sure why they exist, or what / how they work!

+ maybe a LSD will help ? how's an ep3 drive like? always think of an ep3 if my mc dies (touch wood).

heard quite a lot goods & bads idea on it.

They are an awesome all rounder mate, fast enough, hard enough, cool enough too :) Also gets the same economy or better than the MB6, so economical.... ish :D

That said, if you get paranoid about noises, don't bother :) No sound deadening is good for weight, but bad for noise, you can hear every squeak rattle pop, stone, rain drop etc! Turning the music up helps a bit, but then you can't hear the engine going RRRRROOOOOOOAAAARRRR! :D

:lol: Put a new chain and tensioner and put my original head on mine then ad :D

Yea ive got the adjustable rear camber arms john. They have made a big difference. You don't get that "stepped" effect on the inside edges of your rear tyres. Im not sure how the front camber bolts work but to be honest it does sound worth doing. If you go on the type r forum and ask for handling ideas the first response will be get adjustable front and rear camber arms and bolts then get a "fast road setup" done on it apparently it totally changes how the car handles.

You can adjust it without the camber control arms mate...

If it's lowered, the camber naturally decreases, so all you have to do to push it back up is put some washers / spacers between the camber arms and the chassis. I'll so it that way when I put some lower springs / coilys on :)
