wezza9 Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 hi i have just binned a set of thouse please please make sure that you take the locking nuts off when or if you let some one else work on your car incase they use a nut gun on your wheel nuts it weakens them big time when i got my car it had a set of red alloy wheel nuts and McGard locking nuts 1/2 the alloy nuts are stripped and the lockers are now gone all steel wheel nuts next week i went to take the wheel off and the locking sc**ket just broke when i tried to get them off my mate got all 4 locking wheel nuts off in 5 min you just use an impact sc**ket and a breaker bar shocked me how easy i have been told halfords make a very good set i googled MaGard and others on different forums have had same problems Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DAVEMB2 Posted September 2, 2010 Author Share Posted September 2, 2010 OK HERE WE GO START OF MODS I SAID WAS COMMINGRight this is just the first lot of mods i have got done right had red rear strut well to keep with the colour i am going with it is now blueso that looks much better mmm what next well i think need to get rid of the naff wood look on dash but add a little more ok carbon dash no more wood 1"£££$££"!! ok all that done mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm more blue me think so new c-pilar brace same blue as all other strut 1"£££$££"!! 1"£££$££"!! yer inside looking good but more blue i think but what?i no how about a blue room brace yer 1"£££$££"!! 1"£££$££"!! 1"£££$££"!! thats all good you all think mmmm something to sit on i think ? how about some DC2 recaro's all done for now i still have a fair few more mods to come but think trin2 my day to day drive is looking ok 1"£££$££"!! 1"£££$££"!! 1"£££$££"!!
