Restorations at dyno daze me thinks!! Blooming good work!!

I do like doing these sort of jobs , but it is a labour of love and if it was not for me i do not know if i would have taken it on , if i did it would have had a good price tag attached. Rich.

we had a astra day at the unit today , so the vt did not get any work done on her today , but i did put her outside for some fresh air and she found a friend my brothers civic type r . Thats my brother in the picture not me .

Both cars looking smart mate!! I thought your Bro had a silver EP3.... I cant keep up!! :?:)

That is the silver ep3 he had it wrapped in white and the bonnet , roof and tailgate done in carbon wrap. Rich.

Well i had a bit more time today on the old girl .

I started by cutting all the rust out of the inner arch on the n/s as there was an not so good plate already in there so i removed that as well and started again .

Then i welded in the 2 new plates

There was a small plate needed on the back edge of the inner arch to with this plate welded that is one side totally finished , just got to seal it , spray seal in inner arch and the inner jacking point and floor and them loads of wax oil .

Then i started on the o/s the inner arch has been placed before and in such a bad was the was about 10 tacks of weld holding the plate on and it was fibre glassed over , so all that has now been removed .
