i remember my first post, and it seem's so long ago, and it was so long as well.............................

my name is philip, and i live in sleepy old lincolnshire, but not so quite lincolnshire 'cause i'm less than a mile from raf coningsby, i'm a newly qualifyied mechanic (3yrs apprentiship).

car history.

passed my driving test, with wait for it, 11 minors !!!!!!!!!!!! (cut it close didn't I), on the 14 sept 2009,

first car was a 94 mk3 astra with 60bhp

she was a brilliant first car, never let down, i would not hesatated of driving it to scotland tomorrow.

8mths later

end of M854LJV, i still miss it today, it had soul, unlike the next/current car i own.

citroen ZX SX (75bhp), to embarrased to take photos of it,

currant issues with it,

clutch fooked

nsf window n/working

osr door dosent open

dosent alarm propley

osf caliper occaionly sticks

most panels have some sort of dent/stratch/paint missing.....

weired fuel gauge indcation ,(french+electrics=summits gonna go wrong)

current condition of the car

everything below the door handles is muck coloured, along with the hatch lid.

out of tax at the end ofthe month, so i start to use the honda :D

new car,

1996 "p reg" honda civic 1.6ls automatic (time to P**s the boy racers off)

engine code d16y3 i belive its the 125bhp engine

in silver, full electrics

easer to list what it NOT got

alloys

heated fr seats

fr fogs

A/C

head light washers

looking forward to getting it on the road

things to do in the new year

cambelt+tentioner+water pump

disk's and pad's all round + rear calipers (seen i can get a pair of recon on here)

alloys

some rust and paint repairs.

i know my way round the civic/400/45 body shell/running gear as my mum had a 45 for some time (sold on at 184000 miles on the origional head gasket)
