beastgtir
why is the j's manifold too big, 2.5" collector is perfect for a b-series.
weetec
why is the j's manifold too big, 2.5" collector is perfect for a b-series. huge manifold really gives power gains at high RPM. heres a pic of a ebay 4-1 and a 5zigen 4-2-1..... i have also seen a 5zigen 4-2-1 with 2.5 true collector. HUGE you get a hell of a lot of cabin droan with 4-1 aswell

civicturbo79
Making power is all about flow the faster you get the air in and the air out the more power you make so if you are buy a manifold go for the best you can get , 2.5 inch is fine on any vtec engine.Rich. jamal
But you can't get a 2.5 manifold if you are planning on keeping the cat on right? I have seen some 2.0 and 2.25 manifold. 2.5 would be the best choice but then upgrade to the exhaust will be required too.
