hi all,

so this afternoon i decided to adjust my tps as i was getting a couple of degrees turn on the butterfly before the sensor was picking any movement up. got it as spot on as i could with a little help from the mrs!

so now it drives like a different car, response from the throttle is a million times better! but now when you floor it the orange engine light eliminates? only if you full throttle it though. if you give it 75% throttle its fine put the go to 100% and the light comes on?? before the tps would only go up to 97%.

anybody got any ideas??

cheers josh

put a paper clip across the 2 pin socket next to the glove box and take note of the flashes of the eml with the ignition turned to II.

there is a downloadable manual on civic5 that has the fault codes in. or you can just post back and someone will help.

It does that if you start the car or put the paperclip/wire in with ignition on.

Put the paperclip/wire in then turn ignition to II but dont start the engine.
