Mr Brown
was thinking that it would be on the same circuit as the lighting ring only with a seperate fuse obviously
NIKH25
Surely then the stereo would come on with the lights which come on without ignition. The illumination comes on with the stereo, however mine dims when you switch the lights on so not sure how that works.

Is it using an ISO connector?
Mr Brown
im sure it has but i forget as it was nearly two years ago since i put my stereo in. I will remove stereo to check and find out just wanted to throw some confusment out there for everybody. We love a puzzle, see who gets the correct diagnosis
Mr Brown
Just been reading the diagram and the lighter has a wire no 19 with a 10amp fuse for the illumination (bulb blown anyway) and the stereo also has the no19 wire going to a 10amp fuse also i suspect my prediction is going to be correct and that 10amp fuse has popped.. Krzys
I'd say it has reverted to how it was originally if a fuse has gone.
Mr Brown
there will be one wire wrong behind the stereo causing what was happening
DAVEMB2
Odd wiring can be a pain I stil have to find out why the heater blower on trinityD is not working and it's not the Rez pack lol
NIKH25
I'd say the live has been bypassed so the stereo works without ignition.
