mark.b
Have fitted night breaker h4 bulbs in my civic 6 months ago when its dry road conditions there not bad but once its rained or raining i may aswell be driving with sidelights on as theres no light thrown on the road ahead, its been to my local garage an the beam settings are all spot on headlights are kept clean an the insides are clean. ,thinking of trying 80w bulbs and fitting ceramic plugs that connect to the h4 bulbs to stop possible heat damage melting them, has anyone gone down the route of using increased wattage bulbs,if so were the results favourable in terms of illumination of the road and was the wiring ok running higher watt bulbs, need advice about this dont want hid kit as they dazzle too much

ryan..
which nightbreakers are they? The older ones were pretty poor although people rate the new ones quite well. Remember the civic headlights are awful too. Ive just bought a 56 plate octy vrs which has oem hid's fitted. Its like night and day compared to my civic lol

ryan..
make sure they are fitted correctly, its surprisingly easy to fit them wrong. Also, are the lights adjusted correctly? This can cause big issues
dr_broon
I found the nightbreakers to be okay and much better than any other ones (halfords etc) that I'd tried, but as said above, the ring bulbs are mint and a massive improvement
