Why shouldn't I fit Iridium plugs?

Iridium is a super dense material and therefore extremely resistant to wear. That's it! It is a terrible thermal conductor and a bad electrical conductor, so why would anyone use it to make a spark plug centre electrode? Since car manufacturers have to guarantee that their engines stay in-tune for up to 100,000 miles, they can only achieve this with ultra dense Iridium or Platinum

im also using denso iridium plugs but its coming upto service time... :(:lol::lol:

but what if these are the best thing since sliced bread and they keep getting over looked due to super 4's or iridium plugs

with all the members on here i would have thought someone would have tried something different....

looks like like i will be doing more trial and error work :roll::roll:
