vtec2011
I keep going on and off short shifters but now I decided to actually get one and try it! Question is which ones are the good ones on Ebay? Those £20 short shifters look good but it just seem too cheap and I have seen cheap short shifters snap! Can anyone suggest me good shifters. Nothing too cheap or too expensive. Thanks! vtec2011
Cheers Simpo! I don't know how they would break... Unless your ragging the sh!t out of the gearbox haha
simpo
I don't know how that snap either unless there r shift missing and proper trying to ram it in gear! Best way to shift with a short shifter is to use your palm of your hand going into 1st 3rd and 5th and for 2nd and 4th use your 4 fingers, so your shifting using the side of the gear knob rather than holding the top of it
vtec2011
Thanks for the tip! I'm keeping an eye out for a red shifter
DeLaSoul
I've just bought the buddyclub dual bend short shifter. Very solid and comes with the spacers and bearings, just need to fit it but I'm told it's approx 30% shorter in the shift travel. It was about £
vtec2011
Sounds good Dave, I saw the buddyclub shifter on Ebay just recently and it does look quality! Think I might go for that one when I have some spare cash
