aerodeckcrewser Posted November 17, 2013 Share Posted November 17, 2013 hey all now then for nearly a year now there has been a humming noise from the rear of the car sounds like its coming form wheel area. sceptical it could still be the wheel bearing but for a year without fail ? and there is no play in the wheelanother thing it could be is a I have toyo proxes all round except one which has a budget winter tyre on could it be that ? any suggestions ? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NIKH25 Posted November 17, 2013 Share Posted November 17, 2013 It could be the tyre if it's a very different tread pattern or it could be your caliper starting to bind, mine started as a sort of humming before becoming a fully fledged scraping. aerodeckcrewser Posted November 23, 2013 Author Share Posted November 23, 2013 So got the toyo on. noise is a bit better had the deck on ramps today to fit the arb so got it checked the rear wheels 1 is deffo wheel bearing gone and the other is on its way out.
