I would have a diesel jap but none really light my fire.

Dont really care what nationality my daily is aslong as it get 45mpg, is reliable and fairly comfortable

My bit of weekend fun is my mb, and eventually plan to make it faster ;)

For £2000-£2250, a 04 130bhp seat fits the bill, economical, loads of torque and fairly modern

No reason why you cant like jap and vag, but I would always say Japanese build a better more reliable, cheaper to run car than the german equivalent.

I like any car, italian, german , japanese, french etc as long as it has a bit of character :)

Mate if a nice red or white mb6 turned up I would be straight back on said bandwagon!

I best get down B&Q for some emulsion and a roller......or buy a few cans of red plastidip!

Yes mate circumstances have changed in last few days, going to be doing loads more miles in the new year. Gotta be a oil burner, prefer estate but maybe saloon. Did they do one? Mg zs did one i know

ah that's fair enough my friend has a Toledo as a daily, have to say for 500 quid its very comfy and does very good mpg.

yeah I believe they do a 2L turbo diesel version but only ever seen one for sale!

diesel accord's, not a brilliant engine from account's I've heard, clutch's can be big buck's as they take the flywheel out with it when it goes, been known for exhaust manifold's to crack, other than that, they seem to be ok, but it was Honda's first attempt at it's own diesel engine....

imo japenese don't really make very good disels. Im not a diesel person and would not personally buy one (stuck in my ways LOL) but from what i have heard avoid Jap (with a few exceptions), French (at all costs)
