My 1st legal car was a mk2 escort 1.3 ghia with twin webers, nameless 'pancake' air filter, 4-2-1 manifold, straight through exhaust, rs2000 boot spoiler, capri ghia alloys and 4 spotlights (1 pair clear, 1 pair yellow).

When I was 15 I had an Austin 1300 countryman, to learn mechanical skills on, I failed.

Thought the d16a9 was 130bhp

Mine was a 956cc 205 about 10bhp 0-60 in about 10 days

yeah but the timing was advanced and that what it rolled out, I had the same engine put in the coupe and I got 152bhp video on you tube at dyno daze

I thought you sold the coupe ages ago

No i didn't sell it, I didn't want anyone else driving my car so i broke it and fitted the RS kit on my 216GTi TC really wish i hadn't tho still miss it was a great car
